The service was great and everybody was friendly and courteous since we stepped in the front door. The beer was great, the pizza was great and homemade and not just a bunch of dough. No complaints! Wish it was closer to Dallas. Highly recommend! Paul our server and everyone there was great! 💯💯💯

This was an amazing place to grab a bite to eat. I have tried many [non-chained] pizza joints around the country and in a few other countries, this was definitely one I enjoyed to go to. The ingredients was fresh and for what our server, Paul, told us they are local. Plus the service and atmosphere was very worm and welcoming.

We stopped here for lunch. They are doing take out. I had high hopes for a wood fire pizza. To start it took 45 min to get the pizza so I’m sure the staff was under prepared for the 3 cars n the parking lot waiting for food. The crust tasted like a cracker crust., very burnt on the edges and RAW DOUGH in the middle with slimy tasteless tomatoes. The crust was so hard you could not chew the outer edges. This place seems to be a young owners not familiar with how authentic pizza dough needs to be fresh, light and airy with a done center. It tasted like burnt cardboard. The worst part is when you eat raw dough it causes a stomach ace.

We love the food and atmosphere however... they need to work on greeting and getting drinks in a timely manner. But overall we go weekly and enjoy our time there.

Absolutely the best pizza! It’s a small local restaurant that serves the best pizza. The crust, sauces and toppings all are full of flavor. Its not fast food people so be patient as it’s totally worth it and made to order. It’s a great atmosphere with small rooms inside and lots of seating outside, live music and local artwork for sale on the walls. The staff is great as well and very friendly. My wife and I frequent Z’s at least once a week and are never disappointed. Katie, Amber, Rose and Paul are the best. If you are local or visiting please give them a try. We are fans for life.

Disgusting, overpriced pizza, in a poorly run restaurant, wouldn't wish their 'za on my worst enemy, better off with Little Caesars. And the owner harrasses people who leave bad reviews which is probably the tackiest thing a person could do.

Came here based on the reviews and we were not disappointed!! We got there around 430 today (Saturday) and we were seated right away. Everything was good! Ordered the poppers but they were out so we opted for the garlic bread instead. There was a special for us to each get our own individual pizzas so we did. Everybody's pizza was great! Hands down one of the best pizzas we had. We left around 6 and the crowd was picking up. Small cozy place! Will definitely be back.

Pizza was great, atmosphere too. This is a nice local hangout not a national chain restaurant so dont expect super fast service if they're busy. The food is worth the wait.

Paul is the BEST! We have always had a great experience here. Make sure to ask about the desserts!

Nice place. Very friendly and helpful staff. This was our second visit. First time disappointed with the pizza. This visit was even worse than the first. An abundance of inexpensive toppings with sparse amounts of meat.and cheese. Crust was burnt and soggy. Over priced to say the least.With a restaurant background of over 30 years, I feel qualified for this review. Will not return.

I was with Kirk last night. We absolutely 100% waited 50 minutes for our charcuterie board. Rather than the owner writing pithy responses to less than stellar reviews maybe he should address the issues we experienced. We prefer your establishment over the other pizza places in town, but after your response we will not be back.

Perfect for date night. Took my wife here and we loved it. Ingredients for the pizza were fresh . Outdoor seating is very nice. Love the caprese. Would definitely go here again!

Waited 50 minutes for appetizer. Then another 45 min to get pizzas we ordered. Z's is definitely not immune to the overall "bad service in Boerne" problem. Want so badly to like these local restaurants, but they leave you desiring so much more. Definitely need to shape up in service dept....

The Aloha pizza is the greatest ever. Who knew putting cinnamon on pizza would taste so so so very delicious. I'm not usually a Canadian bacon fan but it was so fresh and sliced thinly it tasted great. We loved sitting outside and enjoyed the open mic night they had. Go early it gets busy.

Repeat customer...I drive 30 miles one way to eat here and I am not even a pizza fan. Great pizza, great ambiance (the music is fantastic), a great selection of craft beers, and all in the all only pizza I can honestly say I like.

We were in town for golf we went online looking for a good pizza place and found this one. Everyone was nice until we started to ask were are food was after being there for almost a hour. We were told it was next to go in the oven we just had two pizza. We told them never mind we paid for are drinks and the hole time the man that was waiting on use was getting upset with us. Told us it was not a fast food restaurant. Over a hr for a pizza is to long.

We stumbled onto this place and what a treasure to find! We chose to eat outside and to our surprise there was a play area for the kids and after being in the car for almost 4 hours definitely welcomed by our son. The service was over the top. We were on a bit of a tight schedule and they came through even as busy as they were to accommodate us as fast as possible. As we were walking out I think the whole kitchen told us to have a great time at the wedding. Really nice people and awesome customer service!

The appetizer was cold which was weird because we got it pretty quick. The server also added two beers to my tab after I gave him my card. When I asked him why my receipt and charged amounts were different, he made up a lie, and asked if we wanted two beers to-go to make up for his error. Then when we brought it up to a manager, they brought him over to assure our first charge was refunded, but that was it. I'll never go back again, and recommend others don't either.

It was a bit of a wait but well worth the wait. Best pizza in town. Tried them all and this one is the best. Not even a close second. You won't be disappointed.

One of very few places that serves glutten free pizza with a real hand made crust

Z’s was some of the best pizza I’ve had ever. The crust was light and crisp the ingredients all fresh. The Cesar salad was amazing and beyond with the fresh croutons and homemade dressingThe ambience was super chill. Live acoustic music playing. I recommend this place for any and everyone!

BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!! And the Pesto bread is to die for!!!! Great friendly service too. Worth every penny and the wait. Wait wasn't too long, considering I was hangry. Everything is made fresh, even the marinara sauce looks and tastes homemade.

What a chill spot. Clean, delicious food, and friendly staff. Our waiter Paul made our Sunday brunch so memorable. The caprese salad is a must. The pesto and balsamic vinegar is the best! Highly recommend!

Dough is a little on the sweet side. But it's flavorful and soft. Toppings are fantastic and fresh. Delicious! (Dining in the back yard is a must, on beautiful days!)

This place is awesome. It is very clean and the staff is very good. You can tell that the staff takes pride in their place and the food that they make. We decided to sit out back where they have chairs, tables, and plenty of tree cover to block the sun. There is also a kids playscape in the back with other things for them to play with. We got a half and half pizza, Athena and Da Vinci. We also got the Garlic Parmesan Bread. It was all good but the marinara sauce really stood out. There were only two staff for waiting but they were super friendly, helpful, and very quick with the service in spite of being short handed. The food and the service get 5 stars each! My apologies for the bad picture of the pizza!

Excellent food, doesn't get any better. This place has ruined pizza for me everywhere. I go out of my way to Boerne to get my pizza since discovering Z's. I have had 4 different pies and each one was so delicious, I just can not believe how great the food is. Everyone should try immediately. Topped off with a craft beer selection and always a wonderful and helpful staff, they now have two dedicated customers. Keep up the great job!

Meet a friend for lunch here, was a cozy atmosphere for sure. I'm a beer guy so enjoyed their draft selection not the usual selection of Coors, bud, Michelob, and whatever ipa the sales guy recommends. Friend and I ordered 14" half BBQ chicken and half meats (think they called it the hunter). I believe it was the manager or owner who was serving us but he was very attentive and seemed to be engaging with every table as he walked by and checked on them. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area or even if it's a little road trip to get out of the city for a bit.

Delicious pizza, really cool people, real fun times. We love this spot in Boerne, the pizza is the best we've found in the area. We had the wookie dessert which is a fresh baked cookie with a scope of ice cream and topped with chocolate drizzle, so good! They had a live music duo that was very talented and played a wide range of music, best overall experience around. Love this place.

The pizza here is absolutely delicious! The staff is super friendly and attentive. We sat outside on mother's day and it was beautiful, they just redid their backyard area with artificial turf, it looks and feels supper nice. (yes I took my shoes off 🤫) I am super excited that they are back open for Dine-in with live music on Friday nights.The Pizza special this month is the Zaragoza (green chicken enchilada pizza) and boy was it good! Thank you Z's for always being my go to place for good eats!

Quirky, Fun and laid back. Tons of draft beer that being said I find the pizza only to be adequate. The crust lacks that "something" that you can never place your finger on, it is not bad it is just not great and certainly not gourmet. That being said the staff are more than welcoming, the beer selection is great and the location is really nice with plenty of outdoor seating. I plan on trying a sandwich at the next visit to see if it helps. So far I have had the Juliana and the special Mario. Both were lack flavor and the sauce was not at the level it should be for the very high prices. A 14" pizza is $22.00. The stellar staff, beer selection and quirky setting is saving this place.

We had the Juliana, the club, a couple glasses of wine and a couple of beers, everything was excellent. The service is nothing we have experienced in years, our server Paul gave us the run down on their story and a couple of flyers. Prices are high but you’re paying for great quality ingredients and I don’t mind that at all. Will definitely make it a monthly date lunch/night spot.

Super tasty pizza, real salads with real lettuce and lots of toppings! Play area for the children and all the servers are always nice. Great place for drinks, pizza and family time! Second time eating there and has not disappointed!

Great food, pretty good service I enjoy the entertainment they have on some night’s The staff has always been very polite they try to make things right if something is off. I enjoy their sandwiches they are just delicious and I plan and hope to come back soon

Z's Pizza is the best!! Especially during this craziness going on. Easy to order over the phone then arrive at your scheduled time, let them know your outside waiting and they bring your delicious food to your car. They are even offering to purchase select groceries from them so you don't have to go to the store.

This was our first visit. Now that we have discovered Z's we will become weekly regulars. The pizza was the best we have had since our last trip to Italy. I actually liked it even more due to all of the wonderful toppings and delicious crust. Our server, Lynnette, could not have been more friendly and efficient. Our experience was top notch.
